Cancelled meeting

Due to an flu illness to a Cub leader, there will be no meeting for Wednesday 4th November. However, Val will be meeting parents who have Mundare Sausage forms to hand in. Val will be in the Bissett school parking lot to receive requests from 6:30pm until 6:45pm.

Calendar Update

All wed school meeting nights have been updated, Location & times. Keep in mind we switch between Bisset and Pollard elementary schools throughout the year. Activities will be updated later.

All Cub camps and fund raisers have been updated for the months of September & October.

If I have missed somthing, or does not make sense, please contact me.

Hello to all, with the week please start watching for all cubbing information on the website. This is going to a very useful tool for us all.

Cubs (boys and girls ages 8-10)

Challenging hikes, weekend camps, and an introduction to water activities like canoeing or kayaking are just a few of the fun outdoor adventures that Cubs enjoy. With the Cub motto of "Do Your Best" front and centre, Cubs are encouraged to try new and more challenging activities. Learning important first aid skills, paddling a canoe for the first time, or leading a game at camp will open the door for Cubs to try other adventures they never thought possible. Cubs also experience an exciting variety of other activities: games and sports, model-building, music, story-telling and play-acting. And like Beavers, Cubs enjoy their adventures with their friends.

I am trying to ensure that all parts of the web site are working correctly. If you have the time I would appreciate it if you could leave comments on blog posts for all groups, click on all links and generally put the site through it's paces to iron out any bugs that may be lurking.

Also if anyone has a good photo that reflects 195 Ridgewood that I could use for a header image I would appreciate it. Or any ideas on what would would make a good header; a campsite, a fire, a group shot, etc.
